Create a New Portal

Do you need to create a new portal? Follow the steps below to create a new Bynder portal.

How to Create a New Portal?

  1. Decide on which server the portal needs to be created:

    • EU Local

    • Global

    • US Only

  2. Log in to a portal that is hosted on the same server as the new portal should be hosted on.

    Note

    • Are you an Onboarding Partner creating a portal? Make sure create the new portal from a portal that is in your partner group! This will make sure that the new portal will be in your partner group.

    • The portal will be hosted on the same server as you created it on.

  3. Go to settings_menu.pngSettings > Bynder superadmin > Account Management.

  4. Click the + Create portal button.

  5. Enter a new name for the portal in the Portal name field.

  6. Enter a domain for the portal in the Domain field.

  7. Select the default language in the Default language dropdown.

  8. Select one of the following portal types in the Portal type dropdown.

    • Corporate

      Select this portal type if the new portal will be used as a new client portal.

    • Demo Select this portal type if the new portal is a demo portal, test portal or a portal for a Bynder employee.

  9. Click the Next: User details button, where you'll fill in the details of the main portal administrator.

  10. Enter the first name of the main portal administrator in the First name field.

  11. Enter the last name of the main portal administrator in the Last name field.

  12. Enter the username for the main portal administrator in the Username field.

  13. Enter the email of the main portal administrator in the Email field.

  14. Click Create portal to create the new portal. The portal will be created on the server you're currently working on. This can take a minute.

  15. Wait for the confirmation message that the portal has been created successfully and click Ok, got it to close the screen.

You can now start further customizing the portal.
