Google Drive Integration

Google Drive is a cloud-based storage solution that allows you to save files online and access them anywhere from any smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can use Drive on your computer or mobile device to securely upload files and edit them online.

By integrating your Bynder portal and Google Drive account, you are able to seamlessly connect assets between the two by automatically moving assets in your Box account to Bynder, without downloading from Google Drive and re-uploading to Bynder. Non-Bynder users will now be able to add assets to a folder in Google Drive to have them automatically uploaded to your DAM

How to use the integration

After configuration, all selected assets in your Google Drive account will upload to your portal’s waiting room after about 2 hours. Once approved, the assets will appear in your Asset Bank. Moving forward, any assets added or moved to the selected folder (or subfolders) in the configured Google Drive account will automatically be uploaded to the waiting room after about 2 hours. Learn more about the waiting room here.

All supported file types will be added to your portal, but Google native files, such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, or Google Slides will not convert and upload to the waiting room.

If you delete an asset from your Google Drive account, it will not automatically be reuploaded to your Bynder DAM. If you delete a Google Drive asset from your Bynder DAM it will remain in your Google Drive account.

If you would like an additional Google Drive account synced, you will need to configure another Google Drive workflow.
