Table widget in Brand Guidelines

Use tables in Brand Guidelines to structure your content. Find out below how you can add and manage tables in Brand Guidelines. The table widget is available for the Basic as well as the Advanced package of Brand Guidelines.

Who can use the table widget?
Users with one of the following rights can add, modify and remove tables:

  • Create Guidelines
  • Manage Guidelines
You can only modify and remove your own table widgets.

How to add a table widget

  1. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to add the table. ​ ​ ​
  2. If applicable, click the ​​Edit Guide​​ button. ​ ​ ​
  3. Click the ​​+​​ icon to add a section and use the dropdown to choose a ​1 column​ or ​2 column​​ layout. ​ ​ ​
  4. Click the ​​+​​ icon to add a widget and click the ​​​ icon. A table with 3 column and 3 rows will be added. ​ ​ ​
  5. (Optional) To add extra columns, hover over one of the available dots above the top row and click the ​​​​​​ to add a new column at that position. ​ ​ ​
  6. (Optional) To add extra rows, hover over one of the available dots on the left side of the table and click the ​​​​​​ to add a new row at that position.

You can now start adding content to your table.

How to modify an existing table

  1. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to modify the existing table.
  2. If applicable, click the Edit Guide button.
  3. (Optional) To add extra columns, hover over one of the available dots above the top row and click the   to add a new column at that position.
  4. (Optional) To add extra rows, hover over one of the available dots on the left side of the table and click the to add a new row at that position.
  5. (Optional) To remove a column, click the marked area right above the top row of the column you want to remove and click the icon to remove that column.
  6. (Optional) To remove a row, click the marked area on the outer left side of the row you want to remove and click the icon to remove that row.
  7. Click one of the cells to modify your content.

How to remove a table

  1. Go to the Brand Guidelines page where you want to delete an existing table.
  2. If applicable, click the Edit Guide button.
  3. Hover over the table and click the icon to remove the table.
  4. Read the warning message carefully and click Delete to permanently remove the column.
This action cannot be undone.

Limitations

  • You cannot apply different styles to a table.
  • You cannot change the background of a cell.
  • The maximum number of columns for a table is 10.
  • The maximum number or rows for a table is 100.
