Who can set up POD batch templates?

How to enable POD batch templates?

Contact your Customer Success Manager and provide the names of the POD templates for which you want to have the batch feature enabled.

DIY POD templates do not support batch template creation.

Prepare your CSV file

The CSV file will contain all the data for the templates. In this way, the system can fill and generate all the templates automatically, so that you don't have to create each of them manually. Follow the steps below to create your CSV file.

  1. Go to Settings > Brand templates > Template Management and click List of presets and templates. Use the Filter field to search for the template you need and click the thumbnail to open it.
  2. Have a look at the left sidebar and identify which text fields and images need to be customized during the POD template batch.
  3. Open your preferred text editor and enter each name between double quotation marks in a separate column. For example "background-front" and "email".
  4. You can now fill in the data for each template you want to generate. To do this, enter for each template the data on a separate row respecting the column setup.
  5. For text fields, enter the text value you want to use between double quotation marks.
  6. For images, enter the Bynder title of the image between double quotation marks.

  7. Save your file as a CSV (comma delimited or semicolon delimited) file.
  8. Upload the CSV file to your portal.

Prepare your images

All the images that you want to use during the POD template batch, need to be inside a collection and this collection needs to be linked to all modifiable assets inside the template. If this is not the case yet, go to the Asset Bank of your portal, filter and search for the assets you need and add them to a collection.

The collection now needs to be added to the template. This can be done by linking each image to the collection in Template Management.

  1. Go to Settings > Brand templates > Template Management and click List of presets and templates. Use the Filter field to search for the template you need and click the thumbnail to open it.
  2. In the left sidebar, click one of the images. In the IMAGE SOURCE section, tick Choose collection… and use the dropdown to select the collection with the images inside. Repeat this step for all other modifiable images inside the template.
  3. Click Save to save all your changes.
